In this two-hour live online class, we'll introduce the cataloging process and use lecture, demonstration, and discussion to teach descriptive cataloging of e-books. Tips on searching for records in OCLC, copy cataloging, hybrid RDA records, choosing the right format and cataloging policy issues are also covered.
Intended Audience:
Cataloging staff/copy catalogers, cataloging supervisors who train, acquisitions staff who need to understand basic cataloging information related to ebooks, staff at small libraries who primarily copy catalog materials; original catalogers who need an introduction to ebooks.
