In this webinar participants will explore several free tools for creating infographics or data-heavy advocacy materials and learn techniques for creating popular and easily-digestible visual representations of your data to help- various audiences take notice.

Participants will gain knowledge of the various tools, an understanding strengths and weaknesses of these tools, and an understanding of how to use tools to create advocacy materials.

This webinar is the second of a 2-part webinar series on Data and Library Advocacy.  Each webinar is a stand-alone webinar and can be taken separately.

Presenter: Joyce Chapman is the Assessment Coordinator at Duke University Libraries, co-founder and leader of the Digital Library Federation Assessment group, and data analysis and community development specialist for the open source assessment software. Prior to working at Duke, she was the Consultant for Data Analysis and Communication at the State Library of North Carolina. She is a member of the editorial board for the journals "Evidence Based Library and Information Practice" and "Performance Measurements and Metrics."
