PRIDE Core is a multimodule competency-based training that addresses the knowledge and skills foster parents need. The modules total 87 hours of training and range in duration from 3 to 15 hours.
The goals of the three sessions in Module 5 are to help foster parents understand the importance of the child's family relationships, develop their skills to support these relationships, and provide ways for participants to share the parenting role and help birthparents.
