This paper reports the results of an extensive field investigation of 114 existing and new concrete bridge decks in Indiana - constructed with both epoxy-coated reinforcement and uncoated reinforcement. Preliminary analysis of the bridge decks indicated that epoxy-coated reinforcement combined with Class C concrete provided the most successful corrosion protection method.
