Capitalizing on the Private Duty Revolution

Over the next 30 years we will experience unprecedented growth in the aging population. Most Americans share in the belief that they would prefer to be able to age in place as long as possible and not end up in an institution. This will result in a continually growing need for private pay and supportive services both medical and non-medical. The scope of private care delivery will continue to evolve and expand. Come and listen to a panel of experts in the field of private care delivery discuss the current issues and opportunities for private pay providers and how providers can work together to advocate for the future of private pay care.

Objectives:

  • Define and discuss the opportunities in home care and hospice for the need for private care
  • Discuss opportunities for private care providers to work together with other providers along the continuum of care for patents and families

Panelists: Patricia Drea, MPA, BSN, Chairman of the Private Duty Home Care Association; Lucy Andrews, RN, MS, Vice Chairman, NAHC Board of Directors; Bob Roth, Managing Partner, Cypress HomeCare Solutions; Brittnei Salerno, President and CEO, LaJolla Nurses Homecare
