What software is out there for use? How do you choose software for a digitization project or institutional repository?

In this 2 hour workshop, we will explore the digital library and archives landscape focusing on functionality, system requirements, ease of use and integration with existing databases, opensource vs. commercial, support for emerging formats, and new software projects on the horizon. Best practices for software evaluation for a digital libraries/repository project will be shared, along with a spreadsheet that can be adapted for your project's needs.
