Threat Modelling. Understanding Risks and Privacy Needs

In today's world, protecting your data from everyone and everything can be overwhelming. An easier approach is to think about your unique needs. A great way to accomplish this is with threat modeling: a risk assessment technique to determine what you want to protect, and from whom. In this webinar we will learn to create a threat model and look at example threat models to illustrate their different privacy and security needs.

Josh Stone is the Director of Digital Services for SEFLIN. Josh has over a decade of experience teaching technology courses to patrons and library staff. Currently he is a participant in the inaugural cohort of the Library Freedom Institute, a partnership between New York University and the Library Freedom Project to set up a network of online privacy advocates and trainers.
