This 75-minute webinar was recorded on August 21, 2013.

Many libraries are creating Facebook pages, Twitter feeds, YouTube channels, and Pinterest boards to market their resources and services, along with creating a fun and interactive web presence for library users! These social media sites can be used to blur the lines of work and play by both educating and entertaining followers. In this session, Cheryl Kohen, Emerging Technology Librarian, will discuss ideas and best practices for creating profiles, posting material, attracting followers, cross-promoting services, and connecting to other learning communities.

Presented by: Cheryl Kohen
Cheryl is currently the Emerging Technology Librarian at Daytona State College. She graduated from both the Simmons College undergraduate program as a double major in English and Philosophy, as well as receiving her master's degree from the Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science. She reviews career, philosophy, and new technology resources for the publication "Choice Review."
