AAA-CPA Calendar
of Events
AAA-CPA continuing education programs are
designed to meet the needs of Attorneys and CPAs and qualify for credit
both as CPE and CLE. The decisions of various state authorities
determine the actual credit granted. There are no prerequisites or
advance preparation requirements for this course.
Accounting
CPE/Legal CLE/MCLE-The AAA-CPA is registered with the National
Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of
continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE
Sponsors and CLE in the States of Florida, Texas, and Pennsylvania.
State boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual
course for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be
addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, 150 Fourth Avenue North,
Ste. 700, Nashville, TN 37219-23417. Web site: www.nasba.org. A brochure with full details of
the program is available from the association at 888-288-9272. This
program meets the NASBA standards of 1 (50 minute) hour of instruction.
If you require CLE in a state not mentioned, please call our national
office and we will do our best to arrange for credit in your

About the Speakers
|
Madelyn Miller joined the firm as a Vice President and
Financial Advisor of Bernstein Global Wealth Management in
the New York office. She advises high-net-worth individuals,
families, private foundations and public endowments
regarding investment strategies. Ms. Miller is a member of the
Steering Committee of AllianceBernstein's U.S. Women's
Employee Resource Group. Previously, she held various executive
positions in finance with the Caisse Des Depots et
Consignations, Bellemead Development Corporation, and Salomon
Brothers (now Citigroup). Prior to that, Ms. Miller was a
Certified Public Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She
earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from
The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA
from Harvard Business School. Ms. Miller is a Board Trustee of
the Harvard Business School Women's Association and a member of the
Economic Club of New York, Estate Planning Council of New York,
and New York State Society of CPAs. Within the NYSSCPA, she is a member
of the Family Office Committee and the Estate Planning Committee.
Andrew S.
Auchincloss joined
Bernstein in 2007; he focuses primarily on tax and investment
planning strategies for offshore individuals an families.
Previously, Mr. Auchincloss was a member of the
multinational law firm White & Case
LLP, where for 18 years he represented
international and domestic families, charities, and financial
institutions in the context of tax, estate planning, and
fiduciary law. Mr. Auchincloss has been listed in the peer-rated
publication Best Lawyers in America since 2005. He
received a BA from Yale College and a JD from the
University of Virginia.
