 ·         Collection Due Process Hearings

 ·         Collection Alternatives

 ·         General Rules of Engagement when dealing w/IRS.

·         Avoiding Liens

·         Dealing with the High Dollar Units

·         FOIA Claims

·         Engaging Clients

·         What's new in Offers....Allowable Expenses

·         Appeals

·         Powers of Attorney and 8821s

·         Installment Agreements

·         Completion of forms 433-A/433-F

·         Conducting Examinations

·         Innocent Spouse

Of course, not all topics will be discussed during any single session.

The Website contains three sets of materials that will be used as reference materials for this and subsequent program.

Moderator Note:
This is NOT a traditional study group wherein the moderator will be lecturing throughout.  Rather, this is a study group about representing taxpayers before the IRS and we hope to bring the experiences of many of the participants to bear for each other’s benefit, while mentoring less experienced practitioners on the call.  “War Stories” are encouraged as are frank discussions regarding approaches to cases.  As the moderator, I view my role as guiding the discussion efficiently through a variety of topics and having material to jump-start discussions.  If you have a topic you would like to provide expertise or secure frank comments from your peers, I encourage you to provide me an e-mail me at
emd@taxattorneycpa.com  at least three days prior to the program.

The materials provided are for reference only during the call.  They provide a broad array of sample forms and information that may be referred to as appropriate during the Study Group discussions.
