Speaker: Bill Garrett
State Bar of Texas

Bill Garrett is an Attorney in the Fort Worth (1993-1994), Austin (1994-1999 and currently in the Dallas Regional Office of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel. He presents complaints recommended for dismissal to Summary Disposition Panels; Prosecutes and negotiates evidentiary matters on behalf of the Commission for Lawyer Discipline; Presents attorney disability matters to district disability committees; Presents petitions for probation revocation, compulsory discipline, and reciprocal discipline before the Board of Disciplinary Appeals; Participates in grievance committee member training. Mr. Garrett studied at the University of Texas at Austin (Bachelor of Business Administration, 1974), Texas Tech University School of Law (JD, 1977) and Southern Methodist University (LL.M., 1979). Mr. Garrett was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1977.
