AAA-CPA continuing education programs are designed to meet the needs of Attorneys and CPAs and qualify for credit both as CPE and CLE. The decisions of various state authorities determine the actual credit granted. There are no prerequisites or advance preparation requirements for this course.
Accounting CPE/Legal CLE/MCLE-The AAA-CPA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors and CLE in the States of Florida, Texas, and Pennsylvania. State boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual course for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, 150 Fourth Avenue North, Ste. 700, Nashville, TN 37219-23417. Web site: www..nasba.org. A brochure with full details of the program is available from the association at 888-288-9272. This program meets the NASBA standards of 1 (50 minute) hour of instruction. If you require CLE in a state not mentioned, please call our national office and we will do our best to arrange for credit in your state.

Speaker Biography - Mel Gross, CLU, ChFC, MSFS |

Mel Gross has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has earned the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) and MSFS (Master of Science Financial Services) designations. Mel is a registered representative having series 7 and 65 securities registrations.
Mel works closely with clients to understand their objectives. Then, he develops and implements strategies to assist them in meeting their goals. He emphasizes wealth accumulation and preservation.
Mel is an active member of the following industry organizations: Houston Business & Estate Planning Council, Board Member, in the past, Advanced Association of Life Underwriters (AALU), National Association of Life Underwriters, Houston Association of Life Underwriters, and the Million Dollar Round Table (Top of the Table).
Mel is also involved in the following civil and philanthropic organizations: Rotary Club of Houston (Lombardi Award Committee), Anti-Defamation League (Board Member), Westwood Golf Club (Member), and past Chairman of Operation Rainbow, an international organization for orthopedic and reconstructive surgery on children. | |
