Program Description

The gifting and estate tax legislation enacted in December 2010 arrived with far better terms than even the most optimistic pundits could have predicted. But, as you know, the legislation is temporary and provides only a short window to effect important planning for your high net worth clients.  In fact, when we meet in October, there will only be 15 months remaining to take advantage of this unique opportunity for significant tax and wealth transfer planning.

Bernstein Global Wealth Management whose research on planning topics is quite frequently featured in professional publications including CPA Journal and Trusts and Estates Magazine has completed in-depth analysis on this unique planning environment, and will share their perspective with our group.  The focus will be on how to think about estate planning implications of both the income and estate tax law, as well as the current low interest rates. We believe that for many families, planning done in this next 15 months could address all of their estate planning needs for the rest of their lives.
