* Giev Justin Askari. Prior to
joining Cohen, Chase, Hoffman and Schimmel, Giev worked as an associate
attorney for a boutique international tax firm specializing in international
trust and estate planning issues for multi-jurisdictional clients. Giev also
previously worked as the probate staff attorney as well as a Division
Coordinator for the staff attorneys at the West Palm Beach County Courthouse,
where he primarily handled matters involving trusts and estates for the
Honorable Judge Karen Martin. Giev received a Juris Doctor cum laude from St.
Thomas University School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York
University School of Law. Giev was a founding member of the Intercultural Human
Rights Law Review at St. Thomas, where he served as Co-Editor-in-Chief. He was
recorded on the Dean’s List for four semesters of attendance, and was the
recipient of the West Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award. He also spent a
summer of study in El Escorial, Spain, where he studied legal issues involving
immigration and creditor/debtor rights. Born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida, Giev was admitted to the
Florida Bar in 2006. He is an associate specializing in international and
domestic tax and estate planning.
