Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Arnold is responsible for
various aspects of ERISA compliance and consulting for defined
contribution, 401(k) types of retirement plans, defined benefit and
health and welfare plans throughout the U.S. Over his forty year
career, Mr. Arnold has assisted clients in qualified plan matters
involving the Internal Revenue Service, the Pension Guarantee
Corporation and the Employee Benefit Security Administration.
Recognized as an expert regarding fiduciary liability matters, Mr.
Arnold currently serves, and has served for a number of years, as
an Independent Fiduciary for various qualified plans. His
appointment as a fiduciary has been at the request of the U.S.
Department of Labor with ratification by various Federal judges. As
a Fiduciary, his duties include all aspects of ERISA compliance.
A thirty year member of the
American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) as
well as Society of Pension Administrators and Record Keepers
(SPARK) and other professional organizations, he has maintained
appropriate credentials recognized by the retirement industry. Mr.
Arnold's clients include publicly-held and closely-held
corporations, professional corporations, non-profit organizations
and governmental entities. Mr. Arnold has been a speaker at various
industry groups, including a main recent platform speaker at the
Society of Professional Administrators and Record Keepers (SPARK).
Mr. Arnold was a Ford
Foundation Fellow while pursuing a PhD in Economics at The Johns
Hopkins University in Baltimore, where he received his
undergraduate and graduate degrees. He has spoken at a number of
professional conferences throughout the country regarding
retirement plan matters, including Fiduciary compliance.
