This hands-on course will discuss steps that will aid the practitioner to uncover implants to increase attached tissue. Steps covered include those used to harvest subepitheal or allogenic tissue grafts, and those used to place graft and suturing techniques around dental implants. Use of erbium and CO₂ laser to facilitate this process will be covered. Use of erbium and CO₂ laser to detoxify implant surface for treatment of peri-implantitis will be discussed. The participant will learn these procedures using pig jaws, erbium, and CO₂ laser.

1. Place soft tissue grafting around dental implant
2. Harvest subepitheal graft or use allograft to gain extra tissue around implants
3. Utilize light energy to save failing implant(s)
4. Use suturing techniques needed to graft tissue around dental implants
