Osseointegration is not the result of an advantageous biological tissue response, but rather the lack of a negative tissue response. All of the negative factors are antagonizing the new vessels’ growth and thus are able to induce failures and underperformances in bone grafts. This lecture will show how to manage such factors as contamination, drilling, dyslipidemia, low level of serum vitamin D, pressure and tension in oral surgery.
