AAM High April 9 Webinar: State of Social Media in the Accounting Profession

Apr 09, 2015 01:00pm -
Apr 09, 2015 02:15pm

Event Description

Sarah Dobek, founder and president, Inovautus

Social media adoption among CPA firms is still fairly unsophisticated. While much has been discussed, many CPA firms still struggle to effectively implement the social media basics. In this session, we will share 2014 research on the state of the profession, as well as key opportunities where firms can improve. The survey, a collaboration among AAM, Inovautus and Social CPAs, reached nearly 400 participants representing accounting firms, state CPA societies or vendors/consultants to the profession.

Attendees will learn the central takeaways from the report, which include:

* LinkedIn is  the No. 1 network adopted, but most firms aren't using it in the right way.

* Most organizations aren't using social media management tools or training on them.

* Most firms are far behind in establishing social media policies.

Attend this session to learn ideas for expanding your firm's networks and increasing engagement by proactively posting more relevant content of interest to decision-makers.
