International Affairs

Committee Description
The International Affairs Committee is comprised of members in good standing identified by the President or their designee who have an interest in enhancing the international scope and influence of the organization.
Providing they remain actively engaged in Committee work, a member’s term lasts as long as they have an interest in participating.
  1. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with other phlebological societies and practitioners outside of the United States.
  2. Identify opportunities to collaborate with member societies outside of the United States.
  3. Maintain an active voice with the International Union of Phlebology.
  4. Represent ACP affairs at meetings and events outside of the United States and promote ACP events and membership to the international audience.
  5. Engage and identify potential international volunteers and encourage them to become more involved in the ACP and serve on committees.
  6. Promote and determine the award of up to three (3) annual International Travel Scholarships for first time international attendees to the ACP Annual Congress.
