Gray Whales travel by “line of sight”, which means that they travel close to the coastline on this amazing journey. While cruising this pristine setting, you will view alpine glaciers, Steller sea lions, Dall’s porpoise, harbor porpoise, harbor seals, bald eagles, puffins, and many other types of marine birds. You might even be treated to sightings of Orca or Humpback Whales. Our tour is fully narrated by our experienced captains and naturalist crew members. Complimentary beverages include coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Snacks are available for purchase or you can bring your own snacks/drinks (non-alcoholic) on the cruise. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased onboard.
For comfort throughout the cruise, inside and outside the heated cabins, in a variety of weather conditions, guests are urged to dress in layers, including a warm rainproof coat, hat, gloves, and comfortable, rubber-soled shoes.
-Cost: $160 per person payable to AIPG, you can also register and pay online at www.aipg.org, under ‘Mark Your Calendar’. (This includes the cost of the cruise, dinner, snacks/water on the bus, and transportation.)
