Join AIPG and the OH Section of AIPG for this conference. It is structured to allow consideration and ample discussion of the most crucial aspects of the hydrofracturing process as it pertains to gas production in shale and other tight formations.
The conference is a great opportunity for industry, research scientists and engineers, regulators, consultants and those focused on the environment to come together to learn about the fracturing process, the control and monitoring of fracture propagation, the relationship of fracture propagation to overlying aquifer systems, monitoring for environmental contamination, surface controls to prevent environmental damage, the processing and recycling of production and flowback water, and many other technical and environmental aspects.
We welcome abstracts of up to 350 words. Oral presentations will be approximately 30 minutes which includes time for questions. Please submit your abstract by February 17, 2014 and include the name, address, phone numbers, and e-mail address of all authors. Abstracts and papers should be in MS Word, Times New Roman, 12-point, single-spaced, and left justified. All authors will be notified of acceptance by March 7, 2014.
