Inclusion Drives Innovation: Disability Employment Webinars

In recognition of October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), the Center for Energy Workforce Development is once again partnering with the Department of Labor Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) to provide a two-part webinar series. The sessions, aligned with the Department of Labor's annual NDEAM theme, Inclusion Drives Innovation, will highlight strategies to diversify your workforce to include individuals with disabilities.

Session 2: October 20, 2017 1:00-2:15pm ET

Building off of the first session, this webinar will review disability identity, the principles of intersectionality and bringing one's "whole self" to work, and building a supporting culture for inclusive policies, communications, training and customer experience. Time will be spent on the importance of disability Employee/Business Resource Groups. Time will be provided for Q&A and resources will be provided.
