The next Making the Connection webinar is focused on how companies can create a quality energy workforce pipeline with their education partners. For new members, we'll start with the basics - the Energy Industry Competency Model, alignment of credentials to these competencies, and the importance of companies communicating required and preferred credentials. We'll present a variety of curriculum and resources available to members that align to energy competencies and credentials, including CEWD's middle and high school curriculum and the Energy Industry Fundamentals (EIF) certificate program. We'll also explore some of the challenges of quality in the pipeline, including math skills and pre-employment testing, and some ways address these challenges through CEWD's partnership with CSMLearn and the Get Into Energy Test Prep Workshop.
