What is our digital future - and why you should care

The Eastern Ontario Chapter of the CMC is pleased to present a professional development seminar by notable CMC member George Langlois. This presentation provides an executive perspective on our collective digital future and its role in Management Consultanting. Global indices, game-changing developments and labour trends will be given as a backdrop to one of the most important issues for our future – new collar jobs! This presentation is intended to appeal to a broad group of CMC practitioners, whether novice, mid-career, or senior.

 

Speaker: George Langlois

George is an executive with the Canada Revenue Agency. He is a member of both the McKinsey Quarterly executive panel and Governing Council, Business Technology Management (BTM) Forum, an IT Association of Canada (ITAC) initiative. For 15 years prior to joining the federal government in 2010, George practiced in the field of Management Consulting with a large, international consulting firm; the largest IT industry analyst firm; and a boutique Canadian-based consultancy. He was accredited as a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) in 2001, and continues to support the designation, as well as development of the profession in Canada. George works and lives in Ottawa with his wife and three children.

Cancelations received in writing on or before October 18 will be refunded the full amount, minus a $10.00 handling fee. No refunds will be issued after
October 18. Registrants may send a substitute attendee, with appropriate fee adjustment. Please notify CMC-Canada at least 2 days prior in order to facilitate registration at the event.

No credits are given for late notices or "no-shows".

 

In the unlikely case that the event has to be canceled, registration fees will be fully refunded.
