COSA members enjoy exclusive benefits that help to enhance and ensure their success as educational leaders.  Regular COSA membership entitles you to:
  • Professional Development.  COSA offers professional development  opportunities for Oregon school leaders that are unmatched – and unavailable – anywhere else.  COSA members receive favored access and reduced rates for conferences, workshops and seminars – as well as exclusive access to many Web resources.
  • Legal Assistance.  COSA members have access to legal assistance, an exclusive service that is greatly appreciated by dozens of members each year.
  • Contract Review. At members' request, COSA professional staff will review employment contracts. This contract review service provides recommendations that a number of members use annually during negotiations with their districts.

  • Awards and Honors.  Only COSA members are eligible for state and national awards, including Superintendent of the Year, Principal of the Year and many more.  And only COSA members have the honor of being elected to statewide offices in organizations such as OASE, OASSA, OESPA and OACOA.
  • Assistance from COSA staff.  Whether members need help with a licensure issue, consultation on professional matters, or assistance in working with state agencies and organizations, the COSA Staff is always here when you need us.
  • Scholarships and Services for Your Students. COSA members are eligible to nominate their students for COSA scholarships.  COSA also shows its commitment to students by sponsoring the Oregon Association of Student Councils (OASC).
