The conference registration fee includes conference materials, all plenary and workshop sessions, and all meal functions. Additional rates apply for the pre-conference trainingas detailed below.

One-Day Registration

The one-day registration fee only includes participation for the day specified. Additional rates apply for the pre-conference training as detailed below.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available at the conference. You can earn up to 29 CEU credit hours, provided through the NASW - Washington State Chapter or California Board of Behavioral Sciences. (Please note: To participate in the conference CEUs, attendees must sign-in each day with the conference registration desk and submit session evaluations to receive credit.)

Registration Instructions

·Complete a separate online registration for each person attending the conference. All registrations must be paid in advance of the conference by check, credit card,or signed purchase order authorizing conference registration payment. Onsite registrations must be accompanied by a check or credit card.

·Discounts: To receive discounted member registration rates, member agencies’ dues must be paid to date.  Multiple registrations must be completed at the same time for the “3 or More” discount to apply.  Contact BuildingKinshipCommunities@cwla.org to obtain a discount code.

·All payments are due by September 5, 2014. Mail checks payable to CWLA with a copy of your registration confirmation to CWLA, P.O. Box 75171, Baltimore, MD 21275-5171. Purchase orders will be accepted for pre-registration, but your organization’s check must be received by CWLA on or before September 5, 2014, otherwise you will be required to provide another form of payment onsite. We encourage you to make sure payment has been received by CWLA prior to arriving at the conference to avoid an inconvenience onsite. Please be sure to submit documentation to your agency early enough to ensure that CWLA receives payment before the conference.

·To be eligible for the “early” registration rate, your payment or purchase order must be received in the CWLA office by March 31, 2014.

·Your registration confirmation is summarized once you complete your registration online. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation sent to the e-mail address provided. We encourage you to print a copy of your registration for your records.

·Any and all liability of the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) with respect to registration, reservations, cancellations, changes in the location or content of the program, and refunds is limited to a sum no greater than the registration fee paid. Under no circumstances shall CWLA be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, the cost of transportation or lodging. Submission of registration and payment constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions herein.

·Cancellation Policy: Written cancellations received by e-mail to BuildingKinshipCommunities@cwla.org on or before 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Friday, August 22, 2014 are entitled to a full refund, less a $75processing fee. After August 22^nd, no refunds will be given and no exceptions will be made. No-shows will be invoiced for payment of the full registration.

·Substitutions: If you are not able to attend, you may send a substitute from your agency, but CWLA must be notified in advance by e-mail at BuildingKinshipCommunities@cwla.org.

·No hotel charges are included in the registration fee. Hotel reservations must be made directly with the Royal Sonesta Hotel. Call 504-586-0300 or 1-800-SONESTA or access our discounted room block at Royal Sonesta Reservations.  Additional details are available at Hotel & Information.

·CWLA reserves the right to cancel any session at any time.

·CWLA or its contractors may photograph or videotape sessions and events at the conference. By attending CWLA’s national conference, attendees understand and agree to allow their images to be used by CWLA in its publications, on its website, and in marketing or promotional materials. Photo images may also be shared with the media. Attendance at the meeting waives CWLA from liability resulting from these uses. If you are accompanying a minor that cannot be photographed, please inform the conference registration desk at check-in.
