Transition to All IP Networks: Update on Issues and Progress at State Commissions

The FCBA State and Local Practice Committee will host a CLE on Monday, May 12 from 6:00 – 8:15 p.m. entitled “Transition to All IP Networks: Update on Issues and Progress at State Commissions.”  This program will be held at a location to be determined.

State commissioners, including Pennsylvania PUC Commissioner James H. Cawley, and leading industry representatives will explore numerous issues for states as the FCC and industry transition from legacy analogy copper networks to all-IP networks.  What are the latest developments?  What is coming next?  What are the implications for interconnection agreements, universal service, consumer protection, low income customers, and rural customers beyond the reach of today’s digital networks?
