Topic: Emergency LTE Coverage in Impacted and Under-served Areas
Details: Network providers face many challenges in serving the communication needs of disaster zones, rural communities and underserved areas. Join this discussion with commercial carriers and government regulators on the various efforts that are currently ongoing to provide public safety responders with the necessary tools to communicate effectively. Topics to be discussed include (1) creation and deployment of a nation-wide quick reaction capability to create, expand or re-establish LTE connectivity in impacted, unserved and undeveloped areas; (2) how to field and maintain ready-to-deploy air and ground mobile assets; and (3) the logistical steps to phase in initial capacity, building capabilities over time, and any necessary backhaul systems for resiliency.
