Emerging Trends and Laws in Emergency 911
The FCBA Homeland Security and Emergency Communications Committee will host a CLE on Thursday, June 26 from 6:00 – 8:15 p.m. entitled Emerging Trends and Laws in Emergency 911. This program will be held at Arnold & Porter LLP, 555 12th Street, NW.
This CLE will explore the latest technological and regulatory trends surrounding Emergency 911 services. In particular, panelists will discuss the FCC’s recent actions related to 911 services, the one dealing with Next Generation 911 technologies and services (NG911) and the other dealing with proposals to enhance emergency call locations requirements for calls placed from indoor locations. Panelists from the Federal Communications Commission, the Public Safety sector, state and local government officials and technology solution providers will participate in discussing these issues.
