The Benefits of Natural Lands

This program will highlight the benefits to individuals within a community to keep, maintain and manage “Natural Spaces” and the processes/actions field professionals utilize to balance ecological health with recreational use.

Coaching a Championship Culture: Staff = TEAM
Every organization has a culture. The best coaches know that great culture beats scheme every time. These coaches work to develop a winning culture. To create a championship culture; develop a compelling vision, establish a positive environment and invest in your team. In a championship level culture, Staff = TEAM!

Understanding Staff Engagement and Performance 2023
A fresh look at staff engagement and performance and how being committed to staff engagement can be the answer to “The Great Resignation” and the phenomenon of “quiet quitting”.

Wild Child
The relationship between animals, children, and experience.
This session examines the relationship we have with different species and stacks it up against the actions and reactions of kids when interacting with wildlife.

Parks and UF/IFAS Extension
To support programming, education and data collection.
A look into how UF/IFAS Extension works with the Parks Department and the services and education that can be provided to Parks and Recreation to support and enhance client interaction.
