GCBAA Scholarship Program

The Foundation board has worked diligently with schools, scholarship administrators, and others with experience in similar programs to design a plan that will benefit and reward those students who will be the future of the GCBAA and the golf industry.

GCBAA Foundation Scholarship recipients are awarded a $1,000 scholarship and a complementary, two-year membership to GCBAA, which entitles them to attend important functions and encourages interaction with members and company representatives amongst the GCBAA. Recipients' profliles are also listed in the directory linked below to be viewed by members and industry professionals interested in offering mentoring, internships, and post-graduate employment opportunities.  Student resume's are available upon request to the Executive Office or recipient.

To be eligible for a scholarship, students should be juniors or seniors enrolled in construction management, turf grass management, professional golf management, engineering, or landscape architecture.  Students pursuing these majors should communicate with the department Chair at their respective participating schools (see below) for scholarship information.

The GCBAA Scholarship Program originated in 2006 and continues to support students and the golf industry at 16 universities, benefiting over 30 students.  The additional scholarships are thanks to GCBAA members who provide a matching scholarship at a participating University.  Please contact the GCBAA Executive Office for details for providing a matching scholarship.  Additional Universities and scholarships will be added as Universities are identified and funds become available.
