10:15-12:00 “10 EASY WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR PRACTICES“
Presenter: Sara Sanders, Regional Chapter Manager, PEAK Grantmaking
This workshop covers ten tips for improving grantmaking practices from research and case studies developed by PEAK Grantmaking covering a range of practices and process components including applications, reporting, data, and communications. For instance, using GuideStar for core proposal and report information using demographic data to apply a racial equity lens, and other core practices can increase your overall impact. Participants can share what they would add to the list from their own best practices to help their colleagues improve their practices.
During this workshop, participants will:
- Review 10 tips for implementing practices that will improve your grantmaking
- Learn about ways to reduce the burden on grantees - and your staff - of administering grants
- Identify 2 - 3 quick wins they could implement back at their own organization.
This workshop will help our members build their competencies in:
- Design and Implement Review Process
- Monitor Grantee Activity
- Communications
