January 9 – Home Health Emergency Preparedness - Victoria Barron

Is your agency prepared for an emergency?  This session discusses testing, training activation, implementation and evaluation of your emergency program to ensure agency readiness before, during AND after an emergency to protect patients, staff, business continuity and agency assets.  Discussion will include resources, tools, scenarios and guidance to ensure your agency is emergency prepared at all times. 


February 13 – The Medicare Advantage Battle – Melinda Gaboury and Regina Wild

Home Health and Hospices alike are becoming more and more inundated with Medicare Advantage payer referrals.  Agencies must navigate the roadmap of whether to contract with these plans or remain out of network.  This session will bring a deeper understanding of the key elements of establishing contracts with MA plans and the keys to renegotiating rates after you are in network. 


March 12 – Home Health Medical Review – Avoiding Denials – Melinda Gaboury

At the height of medical review scrutiny in home health, agencies are struggling to know where to focus in avoiding denials.  This webinar will highlight the current top denials and specific documentation tweaks that if implemented will assist in avoiding denials if the chart is medically reviewed.


April 9 – Rocking the GG Items – Melinda Gaboury & Jennifer Osburn

This session will cover interpreting how the calculation of the Discharge Function Score works for administrators and clinical leadership, as well as instructions for accurately coding the GG items using real-world scenarios and focusing on the most misunderstood aspects of the GG items for clinical leadership and clinicians.


May 14 – LUPAs, PEPs, Outliers & Institutional Credit – PDGM Adjustments – Melinda Gaboury

Billing may seem pretty straight forward, but there are many adjustments and honestly decisions, some clinical, that directly impact the calculation of your claim payments.  In this session we will detail review the LUPA, PEP, Outlier & Institutional vs Community adjustments and discuss how they should be reviewed by your agency staff, both proactively and after payment adjustment is made.

August 13 – Home Health PEPPER – Update 2024 – Melinda Gaboury

PEPPER – this data is so vitally important for agencies to understand.  This session will review the current PEPPER Targets following the 2024 release of the HH Update in July.  This data is one of the main sources for selection of agencies to be targeted for medical review.  Don’t be left confused, join us for detail information on each target and how to analyze your own scores to decide where to focus.


September 10 – Home Health QAPI – Tammy Stewart

A successful Home Health QAPI Program is a key component to a well-run organization! Is your Home Health’s QAPI Program back on track since the end of the Public Health Emergency? This session will provide steps for building or re-building your QAPI Program to improve your agency’s overall compliance and performance. You will understand the importance of data collection and analysis to drive performance improvement as well as how to develop a comprehensive QAPI Plan.


October 8 HH Value Based Purchasing 2025 & Beyond – Melinda Gaboury & Jennifer Osburn

This webinar will include the most recent update on the Value Based Purchasing Expansion, which has already had numerous changes finalized for 2025 implementation. We will highlight the most recent IPR reports and provide feedback on where agencies are struggling the most.

The Open Enrollment Period that allows patients the time to make changes to their Medicare coverage can be one of the most frustrating times for home health agencies.  The most uncertain times are in the after math of the enrollment period when agencies are faced with ensuring that they are billing the appropriate plan.  This session will review steps to ensure that you are doing everything possible to ensure that the patient payer is correct.
