“New Emergency Preparedness Standards for Homecare and Hospice”

At the end of this activity attendees will be able to:

  • Discuss changes in the federal regulations regarding emergency preparedness and how they impact home health and hospice agencies

  • Identify the four areas of the CMS Regulation on Emergency Preparedness and how they relate to home health and hospice agencies

  • Discuss the At-Risk Registry and the benefits of utilizing

    *CE Credit: 1 hour of continuing education for RN, SW: FREE                                               *CE Credit:1 hour of continuing education for RN, SW: $25 (plus registration fee)

Target Audience: Home Care and Hospice Clinical Managers, QAPI Coordinators, RN, SW, Chaplains and other end-of-life/palliative care/home health care professionals involved in Emergency Preparedness.

Refunds will not be issued as non- member attendees will pay at the door.

CE Credit: LMHPCO is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the LSBN (Provider # 46). Approved for 1 hour nursing continuing education.
LMHPCO (SWB 12003) is approved as a provider of continuing education by the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists: Approval Period: 5/1/2017. Social workers will receive 1 hour General continuing education clock hour in participating in this course.
*Attendees wishing to receive Continuing Education credit must sign in, attend the entire presentation and complete an on-line evaluation.
