Failure to comply can result in serious financial penalties, or even loss of your agency’s license. Take the steps necessary to create a plan that works.

Objectives:

At the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Review the required core elements of the rule, processes and ways to meet these requirements,

  • Identify issues and obstacles some providers have encountered that are not often considered

  • Educate your staff based on result

  • Discuss how to assemble the required elements, access some additional resources and conduct your Table Top Drill

Presenters:

Kathy Roby, BSN, MA, MS, CHCE, Senior Project Manager, Qualidigm.  Kathy is the Consulting Director at Qualidigm, which is New England’s QIN-QIO.  She has lectured nationally on transformational change in the home healthcare setting.  Roby has assisted large and small agencies develop strategic initiatives to improve quality, safety, and cost-effective service.

Karen Goetchius is a well-known and respected leader in home health, representing Region I to the national Association for Home Care. Karen has twenty years of experience and now leds the Ledyard Regional VNA in Southeastern Connecticut, making it an excellent example of a successful, respected small agency with quality outcomes and highly satisfied patients.  Karen’s efforts have proven that small providers can provide quality care, meet increasing technical demands and not only survive but continue to thrive.
