OASIS-D1 Data Sets:

OASIS data collection continues to evolve! Based on the most current CMS guidance available, this workshop provides a comprehensive look at the OASIS items including the OASIS-D1 revisions and OASIS related PDGM information effective January 1, 2020.  This effective, up-to-the-minute education is targeted for field data collectors, their supervisors, OASIS educators and reviewers, quality improvement staff, and those preparing for the COS-C Exam.

Experience the comprehensive and nationally acclaimed two-day Blueprint for OASIS Accuracy workshop and learn to confidently teach, audit and collect OASIS-D1 items accurately. Through guided, relatable, expert instruction, and participation in problem-solving discussions and more than 50 application scenarios, achieve mastery of the OASIS items, conventions, and the latest data collection rules.

The workshop educational objectives include:

• Selecting OASIS responses that accurately represent clinical assessment findings
• Providing accurate data for quality measurement and payment
• Documenting OASIS data collection compliant with CMS resources and instructions

Workshop Presenters:

Bobi Rose, RN, BSN, CWCN, CCCN, COS-C, is a registered nurse practicing in home health since 1994.  She has been a leader in both clinical and operational positions at the regional and national level with large corporate home health agencies.  Bobi has extensive experience in OASIS, Coding, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and outcome improvement and is recognized as an OASIS content matter expert. She is a Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) and a Certified Continence Care Nurse (CCCN). Bobi holds the Certificate for OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C) designation and is a Senior Consultant with OASIS Answers, Inc.

Megan Bernier, MSPT, COS-C, is a physical therapist with a Masters in Physical Therapy. She has worked in the home health industry since 2010 as a field clinician, as well as in supervisory and administrative positions supporting home health quality improvement, regulatory compliance, clinical documentation, and operations. She has a passion and appreciation for the critical need for OASIS accuracy and is a knowledgeable and energetic OASIS educator.  Megan holds the Certificate for OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C) designation and is a Clinical Consultant with OASIS Answers, Inc.
