This workshop is most appropriate for intermediate coders who are familiar with the foundational concepts of coding.
This highly interactive workshop fosters ICD-10-CM coding confidence and competence by providing participants with opportunities to demonstrate understanding of the course content. Case studies and exercises reinforce participant knowledge as they are asked to apply guidance presented. This self-assessment ensures mastery of the critical concepts needed for coding accuracy.
Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and participate in class discussions. It is ESSENTIAL that participants bring a current ICD-10-CM Coding Manual to class to fully participate in this learning experience. Accurate code assignment is not possible without a coding manual.
