Event Description

Leadership Identity (MBTI®)

How do your preferences and personality type impact your leadership? Utilizing the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) assessment, the Leadership Identity workshop will dig deep into how your type preferences impact your ability to manage others, resolve conflict, deal with change and more.

School Administrators can become more effective leaders by understanding personality type, their own type and how their preferred style relates to enhancing their ability to communicate, to make decisions, to lead change management and to manage conflict. This course uses the MBTI Step II results to enable participants to understand personality type as defined by the four dichotomies in the instrument, the facets contained within the dichotomies, and how to apply an understanding of the facets to increase their effectiveness in communication, decision making, change management and conflict management. Participants will be required to take an online assessment prior to the course and during the course will
work in pairs, and both large and small group settings to gain an understanding of not only their preferred type, but the type of others. Participants will develop a leadership development plan based on type to enhance their leadership abilities in one of the four categories: communication,
decision making, change management and conflict management.

This academy requires participation in an online survey. Registration for this event will close on 9/13/17 to allow time for the survey to be processed. Please note: If you cancel your event registration within the allowable time for a refund, you will receive your refund less the cost of your survey instrument.
