A named scholarship can be established with a minimum annual contribution of $2,000 for at least three years, and the Foundation will work with the donor to establish any specific eligibility or criteria that should be used in choosing the student recipient each year.

Help Us Grow the Educational Foundation Scholarship Program & Empower Future Hospitality Leaders
Industry Employment & Room Increase:
- The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that the leisure & hospitality industry will increase employment by 9.3%, or nearly 1.3 million jobs, over the next 10 years.
- Hotel consultants, T.R. Mandigo & Company, estimate 4,000 hotel rooms are on track to be added to Chicago’s 37,000 by 2017.
Rising Tuition Costs: Over the past 30 years, the average tuition and fees at a public 4 year school saw a 231% increase.
Conclusion: The demand for exceptional talent in the hospitality industry is greater than ever, and we must act now to meet the anticipated growth. The rising cost of tuition has become prohibitive for many promising students, but with increased financial support, the number of recipients and award amounts can continue to grow. Your contribution will help us support promising future hospitality leaders and help our industry meet its staffing needs.
