15 Member Board of Trustees who oversee the administration of the MAS Insurance Trust. Once elected, each Trustee serves a 3 year term with a maximum of three consecutive terms.
The Education Committee oversees selection of locations for the fall Educational Workshop, and selects topics for education sessions at all conferences.
The Legislative Committee is responsible for the preparation and recommendation of a proposed legislative program for consideration by the membership. The 11 members of the Legislative Committee are elected at the spring regional meetings and serve one-year terms. The First Vice President is an ex-officio, nonvoting member of the Legislative Committee.
The Nominating Committee is responsible for nominating the officers and one-half of the Board of Directors for election each June at the Annual Convention. The 11 members of the Nominating Committee are elected at the spring regional meetings and serve one-year terms.
The Finance Committee works with MAS staff, CPA, auditors and others to oversee MAS budget process
The MAS Board of Directors, Officers and Finance Committee meet jointly to oversee the operation of the Association. Each member has one vote.
MAS Officers include: President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Third Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, Sergeant-at-Arms and Immediate Past President.
