The Military Child Education Coalition® (MCEC®) is a nonprofit organization addressing the educational needs of children in military families.
Supporting Military Children through School Transitions: Foundations is an interactive professional development institute focusing on the military-connected child’s experience with transitions. It creates an environment for education, installation, and community professionals to have access to professional networks, technologies, resources, and support systems.

There is no cost to participants.
- Understand the impact of transition and separation
- Interpret data from MCEC research that addresses school transitions
- Create a viable transition action plan
Upon completion of the training (6 clock hours) participants may apply for continuing education credits for a fee of $25.00. CE credit applications must be received within 12 months from the completion of the training.
