Event Description

Berna G. Haberman, PhD, MA, instructor

Are you a person that says or thinks, “It can never happen to me.”  If disaster strikes or an emergency occurs, are you prepared for the unexpected?  Are you aware that all mental health professional codes of ethics require you to have a plan of action for transfer of records for emergencies? Do you have a Custodian of Records?  This workshop includes a brief review of the ethics plus a comprehensive guide, (which is included), to all of the information you will need to develop a complete plan of action for the transfer of records.  The workshop agenda includes time for questions and discussion.

Upon completion of the program the student will be able to:

·         Discuss and review the code of ethics and comprehend the need for a plan of action

·         Compile information and gain knowledge needed to formulate a complete plan of action

Program Code: BPW3

3 CE Credits

Fee: $80, includes the $29 workbook
