2022 NAGC Leadership & Advocacy Conference Agenda
Registration closes March 7.
We're excited to gather policy experts from across the field and provide a diverse, content rich program designed to strengthen your policy knowledge and advocacy skills. By attending the 2022 NAGC Leadership & Advocacy Conference, you will:
- Receive over 12 hours of professional development
- Learn about the latest policies impacting gifted and talented children and the educators who support them
- Receive expert, hands-on advocacy training
- Network with other advocates and affiliate leaders from across the country
- Work with experts to strengthen your state affiliate
- Meet with your members of Congress and advocate for the needs of your gifted and talented learners.
As always, providing a safe and healthy environment for participants, presenters, and staff remains our top priority. The CDC has recently revised its guidelines for mask wearing based on COVID-19 Community Levels. The current Community Level for Alexandria, VA is “Low,” so Conference attendees may choose to wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by personal level of risk. To ensure everyone’s health and safety, all attendees are strongly encouraged to take a COVID-19 test prior to attending the Conference.
All attendees, presenters, sponsors, and staff, registering for the Leadership and Advocacy Conference MUST provide proof of vaccination to attend the event. For more information and instructions on how to verify your vaccination status, please click here. We reserve the right to change our health and safety protocols based on the latest CDC guidance.
We look forward to welcoming you back to our nation’s capital.
