Event Description

Attend the 9th annual NALP/ALFDP Summit on Diversity and Inclusion to take part in discussions on these and many other important topics:

  • What is social isolation among diverse lawyers and can it be measured?
  • How is corporate America managing its diversity efforts?
  • How can we be culturally competent in our rapidly changing world?
  • What is the role of talent management in diversity?
  • How can coaching skills assist you in dealing with the changing roles in law firms?
  • Generational differences, women’s issues, and much more.

The 2014 Diversity and Inclusion Summit will bring together NALP and ALFDP members, diversity professionals, law firm partners, in-house lawyers, career counselors, legal hiring and training professionals, law school deans, industry consultants, and other legal career professionals who have an interest in continuing to expand diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. The chief purpose of this exciting conference is to provide a forum for a robust exchange of information about the current challenges and innovations surrounding the issues of diversity and inclusion in the legal employment arena. Participants will also enjoy multiple networking opportunities, allowing occasions to connect and share best practices. A welcome reception, speed networking, roundtable discussions, and two meals will offer time to share ideas and connections with others in the profession.

This Summit features an ambitious schedule with topics from the front lines of the discussion about diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in the world, and offers a wide variety of speakers. Don’t miss this opportunity to join your colleagues at the 2014 Summit.
