Guidelines for Nomination

  • Applicant/candidate must be an NAPT member for three (3) continuous years or more and may not have been the recipient of the award the four (4) preceding years.
  • Grant must be used for continuing education in the field of public transportation.

    Award Description

  • Two Grants for up to $1000.00 each for pre-approved tuition, travel, lodging and meal expenses at an NAPT approved workshop. Grants must be used within 12 months unless an extension is granted.

    Notification

  • A representative of Thomas Built Buses will notify the recipient no later than October 1st.

    Nomination/application requirements:

  • Applications must be postmarked no later than September 15th Applications for all awards must be submitted by an NAPT member, be postmarked no later than September 15th and mailed to:

    Applications/nominations will be accepted after January 1st and ending September 15th

      Overview

      The National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT), together with supporting sponsors, is proud to offer an annual awards program to individuals and operators responsible for the safe transport of school children. What follows is a brief description of the awards that are presented at the Annual Conference each year.
