Do the Right Thing!

This workshop will provide education on ethics with use of the NASW Code of Ethics as a guideline. This interactive learning environment will help participants identify ethical dilemmas and use of best practices to prevent ethical misconduct or violations. It will provide group discussion on use of ethical decision making models and help participants in making decisions in the best interest of their clients.

 

Course Objectives:

1. Participants will be able to define ethics.
2. Participants will strengthen their knowledge of the NASW Code of Ethics as a guide in resolving ethical dilemmas.
3. Participants will identify ethical dilemmas or concerns.
4. Participants will utilize decision making models, tools/resources as best practices.
5. Participants will actively engage in group exercises/discussions to determine best practices for handling ethical dilemmas or concerns.

 

 

 

 

Attendees will earn 3.0 Category 1 Contact Hours, including 3.0 Ethics Hours

LOCATION:

This will be a virtual training. Registrants will be sent a link to join the training session online prior to the event.

 

Please plan to login by 8:45 am. The training begins at 9:00 am and ends at 12:15 pm.

 

 

 

PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY:

 

If you choose the "Bill Me" option during checkout, please mail payment within 7 days of registering in order to hold your seat. You will receive a confirmation email with your purchase information following checkout; this will serve as your invoice, no other invoices will be provided.

If a registrant cancels more than 10 days before the event, a refund will be issued by check or credit back to your credit card, minus a 10% administrative fee.

 

If cancelation occurs less than 10 days prior to the event, no refund will be issued but you may request a credit towards a future training to be used within 1 year of the cancelation date. Call the Chapter Office (804-204-1339) to cancel within 10 days of the training. A request for credit may be granted at the discretion of the Executive Director in case of a documented emergency.
