**By registering for the classes between September 8 - December 31, you are indicating that you are taking the associated trip to Northern France & Normandy in 2018. Members who wish to take the class only, will be able to do so in January 2018. Only participants taking the trip should register for the classes at this time.
Bill Cosgrove and COL (ret) Lawrence Saul will co-present a series of five classes leading up to their WWII battlefield trip to Normandy and Northern France. Cost of the class includes a study/guidebook compiled by Cosgrove and Saul.

Session 2: Why Invade France? The Allies; Why Invade in Normandy?, Overview to Normandy; US Assault Forces.
Session 3: The Assault Plan and Chain of Command; Key Allied Leaders, Airborne and Amphibious Assaults; the Beaches.
Session 4: Key Small Unit Actions; The Bands of Brothers; The End of the Day; Stalemate – Battles in the Hedgerows.
Session 5:OP Cobra – The Breakout; OP Luttich; Falaise Gap; War and Remembrance.
