Event Description

Strengthening Governing Board Practices – Part 2
Monday, March 20 | 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM | Lewistown

Presented by: Tish Mogan, Standards for Excellence Director, PANO

What type of strategic focus does your board have?

  • Are members focused on the big picture - at least part of the time?
  • How does your board benefit from doing a board evaluation?
  • Does your organization have a written recruitment process to maximize the opportunity of getting great board members?
  • Do you have the tool kit ready to implement this?

This program focuses on these and many other governing practices that help to form a culture of engagement and accountability for the board. We will provide tools and processes to make improvements doable and efficient.

This program is a follow up to the Governing Board program that took place at Mifflin County Library in October 2015. For those not able to attend that program, we will share a webinar summary of that program prior to this workshop at no extra charge. Part II will take us into more specific strategies around creating an engaged, active and educated board.
