Our breath is always with us as a tool to anchor us in the present moment. This session will focus on welcoming our whole self to experience the present moment and will include a breath awareness/body scan meditation.
May 7: Slow Down When There’s Chaos All Around
Slowing down and quieting your mind can open your attention to what’s happening around you and the wisdom inside of you. This session will focus on slowing down to experience calm amidst the chaos and will include a listening meditation.
May 18: “Through it Not Over it” to Deal with Difficult Emotions
There’s no detour around life’s challenges, so it’s important to learn how to relax into the present moment and accept what is. This session will focus on awareness as a tool to get through tough times and will include a sound/humming meditation.
May 23: The Heartfulness of Letting Go
Opening your heart to love and kindness toward yourself and others is the essence of mindfulness practice. This session will focus on cultivating seeds of compassion and will include a loving-kindness meditation.
May 31: Moving to Get Unstuck
Moving your body is like pushing the reset button to help you get unstuck from thoughts or behaviors that aren’t kind or helpful. This session will focus on movement (like drumming, walking/running, dance, yoga) as a way to heal and will include a rhythm/bilateral stimulation meditation.
