Finding common ground in an increasingly polarized society is no easy task. In particular, recent developments with state and federal budgets may very well mean tumultuous waters lie ahead for many in the nonprofit sector in the coming year. Navigating the rapids will take skill, poise and courage.
We invite you to participate in a facilitated discussion about how to advocate for your critical services – whether in the boardroom, the classroom or the capital building – both now and in the future, in ways that will protect your organization and the people you serve.
Through dialogue, demonstrations and practice sessions, this half-day program will guide you in learning and helping to generate the tools needed to have critical conversations with key stakeholders in your community – and empower you to use your voice.
